Write your own destiny

I liked this article in Times of India (Speaking tree).  Just pasting it here:

With your hands write your fate and if you don’t like it, erase it and write it again. This is a powerful secret of life. We have such potential, such power that we can write or rewrite our destiny! All you need to know is what you want to do with your life. Write, and that will become possible, you have that power. Your fate is in your hands.

Your soul is the highest truth in you. And that soul has a power to do whatever you want.  You can tell your soul, “This is my fate, this is what I want to do with my life”. But when people are not aware, conscious, then negative forces make your fate. Why allow that?

At another level by saying that your fate is in your hands, it is literal. Use your hands. There is no other work for these hands… they can design your fate, with your consciousness, with your human nature. What a powerful machine we have…and how little we use it!

When we realise that we are filled with immense potential, we will get the energy to move mountains. Then we don’t need any rest.  Rest means you feel tired and you want to relax. Why do you feel tired?

Life is always giving you more energy: the more you use your forces, the more you grow… The Mother used to say that it is dangerous to take rest. Life is so short and if we spend maximum time taking rest, what are we making of it? Why blame fate then? It is a very unconscious, low attitude of life – taking rest. It grows inertia. When we misuse our consciousness by pursuing self-centered ideas, ambitions or missions, we become tired fast. Whenever you are tired, it means you are busy somewhere in a very selfish business, in selfish motives, selfish activities.

Ego eats lots of energy: to maintain your ego, a lot of energy is needed. Without ego you start feeling light – ego is like a big burden which you are carrying; when you are walking carrying a heavy burden, automatically you will get tired very fast. And with no ego you feel light; you don’t feel tired with that.

Do not confuse rest with sleep. Sleep is a force, it is a living, live force. There are two forces which give us energy: one is the force of sleep, and the other is food which we eat. When sleep is good, then you wake up with more energy, full of life. Use both with discrimination and respect.

Life is so beautiful, when you are moving in the right direction, with the spirit of adventure and joy. Then you want to live more, you want to work more, you don’t want take rest! Then you attract Divine forces and the Divine forces direct you. That is how you can make your life, design your fate, make your destiny. You feel purposeful. It is all in your hands…

Nothing !!

"I know nothing" - Last couple of years in my life, I saw many people uttering these words. I always wonder - how can people know NOTHING. NOTHING is infinite. Infinite is everything. Do they mean they know everything ? If that is the case, then how can they be normal humans ??? There could only be 3 possibilities - either the language is wrong or the grammer is wrong or the person himself uttering these words doesnt know what is he speaking.

I say NOTHING is everything. There is a duality existing in this world. Light and Dark, Positive and Negative, Black and White, Heaven and Hell, Good and Evil, God and Demon. Similarly, EVERYTHING and NOTHING. One cannot exist without the other. If you know the value of one entity, the value of other entity is always known and appreciated.

A person who is there in a coal mine, will always appreciate the value of Sun and day and light. Since, he is always in the dark most of his time, and doesnt see the light, he knows the value of light. But at the same time, he is used to dark and so he knows how to move, do things quickly, how to work in the dark, more than a person who is in the light. Not that he is hating light, but due to lack of light, his work become so routine that he tends to think that light is more precious than life.

Same is the case with life. Only if one can go through the rough phases of life and work hard, will appreciate the joy, will appreciate the minutes of rest he takes, will value the money he gets for his work. He will spend that joy, that time, that money with so much care that he wont try to loose it at any cost. He looks after them as his life. He never tries to loose them.

I want to write this point and highlight the fact that we need to work hard to appreciate it. When we never try anything and just thinking that it would be hard to do that particular work, we can never appreciate the work.

Vastu Tips

1. Fish aquariums play a positive role to attract wealth. It is better to keep aquariums at home for the smooth flowing of finances. You need to choose ornamental fishes or active and healthy fishes for your aquarium and ensure that the fishes are strong swimmer. The constant movement of fishes will help to bring the energy of wealth on a steady flow. Adding to it, always keep the water clean and aerated.

2. The most important part of a house is the main entrance, as the main entrance is known as the mouth of the house which brings energy inside the house. Also, entrance plays an important role in vastu as it is the key source for energy flow.
To attract wealth, it is better to make your front door look distinctive. Apply colour which is different from the rest of the neighbouring walls. According to vastu guidelines, it is always better to avoid buying property which has a door facing south-west direction. As negative energy enters the house from south-west direction and also brings in struggle and misfortune for the people who live in.
The entrance should be clean and clear, it should look spacious. Avoid keeping slippers and shoes around the entrance as it can dilute the entry of positive energy which can get mix up with the dirt and the smell of shoes while entering your house. Also, the entrance needs to be well connected with the rest of the home so that the flow of energy can reach to each and every corner of your home.

3. In vastu, it is advisable to keep the windows in sparkling condition to allow wealth as dirty glass is likely to restrict the money movement at your home. Besides, windows allow natural lighting to enter the home. In vastu, proper natural lighting and ventilation holds an important position. It is important to check that proper sunlight is entering into the house and also the house has good cross ventilation option. Home with north or east facing windows are ideal as per vastu guidelines, as morning sunlight brings positivity into the house. South or west facing windows are not recommended in vastu as afternoon rays are not good.

4. Almirah need to be positioned very cautiously at home, according to vastu guidelines. Therefore, almirah with jewelry and valuables should be placed in southwest of the room leaving southwest corner and the room needs to be opened towards North. Also, you can place the almirah in west-side wall facing the east direction to bring in wealth. It needs to be open towards the north direction as north is the direction of ‘Kuber,’ the God of wealth.

5. People who face losses and fail to make money can place heavy objects in the far-left corner of the room, according to vastu. Heavy statues should be avoided in north-east of the room or house. And the statues of Lord Ganesha are one popular piece which is popularly used to decorate rooms.
Also, if your expenses are going out of control, is it better to keep live plants or grains in the bathroom. This can probably control your expenses as it prevents the money flowing down through the drain. Symbolically, live things or growing things can absorb water energy and can reprocess it.

6. Purple colour symbolizes wealth. Keep a live purple-coloured plant inside your home to get more benefits. Always place the plant in the southeastern corner of your living room to attract wealth. If not purple coloured plant, you can also keep money plant in a purple coloured tub.

Shuklaam Bharadaram Vishnum

Sri Ganesha is the Lord of Obstacles. So, I wanted to start with Lord Ganesha first. The following sloka describes a lot about Sri Ganesha.

Shuklaam Bharadaram Vishnum Shashivarnam Chaturbhujam Prasanna vadam dhyayhet sarva vignopa Shantayeh.

Different Puranas has different stories. According to one Purana, Shri Ganesha is the incarnation of Sri Shakthi. Another Purana says Shri Ganesha is the incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

The above sloka describes that the He who used the sky as his clothes, He who is in the color of Lord Vishnu, He who has four hands, He who removes all the obstacles and gives us peace, I am praying to that Lord.

May, He who is the first Lord to receive all the prayers give peace to everyone and show them the path to final place.
